Exciting news for Moduly! We're thrilled to announce that our company has been selected as one of five startups to participate in The Company Lab's prestigious sustainable mobility accelerator program in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The 12-week program, which attracted 132 applicants from 19 countries, offers participants an initial investment of $20,000 with the potential for up to $100,000 in additional funding. This opportunity aligns perfectly with Chattanooga's strengths in sustainable mobility, including EPB's quantum network and the city's focus on electric vehicle production.

Why Chattanooga?

Chattanooga has emerged as a vibrant hub for startups, attracting entrepreneurs and innovators from various sectors. Here are several key reasons why it is considered an excellent location for new businesses:

  • Economic Growth: Chattanooga's tech scene is projected to contribute over $1.2 billion to the local economy by 2025, reflecting a significant growth trajectory in the startup sector.
  • Supportive Programs: Initiatives like the Co.LAB program that provides comprehensive support, extensive networking opportunities, mentorship, and coaching of Chattanooga's unique resources, the CO.LAB Sustainable Mobility Accelerator presents an exceptional opportunity for startups to grow and succeed.

As a Montreal-based company, we're excited to bring our innovative home battery storage solution to this program. Our technology helps reduce peak energy consumption and carbon emissions with a plug-and-play approach.

Looking Ahead

Our CEO and co-founder, Jonathan Lamer, sees this as a fantastic opportunity for growth and collaboration. He highlighted two key reasons for our participation:

  1. Tennessee represents a significant market for Moduly
  2. The program provides valuable support and expertise as we continue to expand

We're looking forward to working alongside other innovative companies in the sustainable mobility space and leveraging Chattanooga's unique resources to further develop our technology and business. Stay tuned for updates on our progress throughout this exciting 12-week journey!
